Reason for Decision
- Hearing & Evidence: The Stewards heard from the drivers of Car 16 (샤를 르클레르) and Car 63 (조지 러셀), their team representatives, and reviewed various evidence including video, timing, and in-car footage.
- Incident Analysis:
- Car 63 and Car 16 were involved in a collision at Turn 12.
- Car 63 was ahead of Car 16 at Turn 11 but lost its position to Car 16 at the exit of Turn 12.
- An investigation was conducted, using driving standards guidelines, to determine if either driver should have acted differently.
- The Stewards also examined whether Car 16 remained on track or left it at Turn 12. The evidence was inconclusive regarding Car 16 leaving the track, and both team representatives agreed there was no clear evidence of this.
- Conclusion: Both drivers considered this a racing incident, believing no further consequences were necessary. After reviewing all available evidence, the Stewards reached the same conclusion.
