Decision
- 10 second time penalty.
- 2 penalty points (total of 4 for the 12-month period).
Reason
The Stewards reviewed all available evidence, including video footage, timing data, telemetry, team radio communications, and in-car video.
Car 12 (키미 안토넬리) attempted an overtake on the inside of Car 16 at Turn 3. During this maneuver, Car 12 understeered, making contact with the side of Car 16. This collision resulted in significant damage to Car 16, leading to its retirement from the race.
It was unequivocally determined that Car 12 was entirely and predominantly at fault for the collision, leading to the imposition of a 10-second time penalty.
Right to Appeal
