Maximum Time Between Safety Car Lines

To ensure that cars are not driven unnecessarily slowly, the Race Director has issued the following instruction:

Maximum Allowed Time: 1:22.0 (1 minute 22.0 seconds)

Applicable Sessions:

• During and after the end of Sprint Qualifying
• During and after the end of Qualifying
• During reconnaissance lap(s) when the pit lane is open for the Sprint or the Race

Location:

• Between the Safety Car lines (SC2 to SC1) shown on the pit lane drawing.
