Technical Delegate's Report - Race Scrutineering

Before the Race:

  • Floor Scanning (Car 55): The floor of car number 55 was digitally scanned and compared with the team-declared CAD drawings to check for conformance with the 2026 Formula One Technical Regulations.
  • Front Wing Flexibility Tests:
    • Asymmetric and symmetric front wing main plane flexibility tests: Cars 01, 03, 44, 87.
    • Front wing flap flexibility tests: Cars 01, 03, 44, 87.
  • Clutch Paddle Linearity: Checked on Car 77.
  • Grid Checks:
    • Verified all cars fitted their tyres and disconnected tyre heating blankets at the "5-Minutes" signal.
    • Checked LHS & RHS front and rear minimum tyre starting pressures on all cars.

After the Race:

1. Weighed Cars

The following cars were weighed and found to be in compliance:

2. Detailed Aerodynamic & Bodywork Checks (Cars 12, 44, 30)

The following components were thoroughly checked against the technical regulations:

  • Floor Leading Edge Device (Art. C3.5.7), Floor Winglet (Art. C3.5.8), Floor Fence (Art. C3.5.9), Floor Corner (Art. C3.5.10)
  • Forward Chassis (Art. C3.7.2), Mid Chassis (Art. C3.7.3), Roll Hoop (Art. C3.7.4), Mirror (Art. C3.7.5)
  • Engine Cover (Art. C3.8.2), Tail (Art. C3.9.1)
  • Rear Wing Profiles (Art. C3.11.1), Rear Wing Endplate Body (Art. C3.11.2), Rear Wing Brace (Art. C3.11.3), Rear Wing Pylon (Art. C3.11.4), Rear Wing Aux. Components (Art. C3.11.7)

3. Specific System Checks

  • Boost Pressure Sensor: Checked on Car 18.
  • Physical Oil Consumption: Checked on Car 03.
  • General Checks (All Cars): Fuel pressure, engine cooling system pressure, high rev limit bands, fuel flow meter calibration, fuel energy flow, fuel/plenum temperature, engine intake air pressure, max turbocharger speed, PU & MGU-K power limits/reduction rates, ERS recharge limits, torque control, steering wheels, race start data, and wing adjuster transition times.

4. Random Extensive Physical Inspection

  • Car 03 (Max Verstappen): Randomly selected from the top ten finishers.
  • Inspected Areas: Throttle pedal assembly, attached sensors, loom routing, and connections to the SECU/other units.

Conclusion

All car weights and checked items were found to be in conformity with the 2026 FIA Formula One Technical Regulations.
