  • Fact: Car 6 failed to slow under double yellow flags at Turn 13 (T13).

Infringement

Breach of Appendix H, Article 2.5.5 b) of the FIA International Sporting Code and Article B 1.8.4b of the FIA F1 Regulations.

Decision

10 Second Stop-and-Go penalty.

Reason

The Stewards reviewed positioning/marshalling system data, video, timing, telemetry, and in-car video evidence.
The telemetry for Car 6 clearly showed that the driver did not make a significant reduction in speed when in the double yellow flag area, as required by the regulations. The penalty is the standard penalty for this offence.
