2026 Japanese Grand Prix - Pre-Race Procedure
This document outlines the mandatory activities and timing for drivers prior to the start of the race, as per Article B10.1.4.b of the FIA Formula 1 Sporting Regulations.
Timeline of Activities

Key Requirements
- Attendance: All drivers must be present at the front of the grid no later than sixteen (16) minutes before the formation lap.
- Attire: During the National Anthem, all drivers must remain dressed only in their race suits.
- Compliance: Any failure to follow these procedures will be reported to the Stewards for potential disciplinary action.
Grid Layout (Summary)
- Positions: Drivers will be arranged in a 'V' formation facing the grid.
- Features: The ceremony area includes a Sky Area, LED DJ Desk, and specific positions for flags and Disney characters near the Start Gantry.
