Doc 45 - Decision - Qualifying SC2-SC1 Times

Infringements/DecisionsNotices/Procedures

The Stewards have reviewed a report from the Race Director regarding drivers exceeding the 1:11.0 time limit between the Safety Car lines during Qualifying. After reviewing various data, including Marshalling/Positioning data, timing data, on-board cameras, and CCTV cameras, the Stewards determined that while the drivers did exceed the time limit, they took appropriate actions to not impede other drivers and slowed down significantly to allow others to pass safely. Consequently, the Stewards concluded that no driver drove "unnecessarily slowly" and therefore decided to take no further action.
