Document 37 - Pre-Race Procedure

This document, issued by the FIA Formula One Media Delegate Roman De Lauw, outlines the pre-race procedures for the 2025 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, held from September 19-21, 2025.

Summary of Pre-Race Requirements

As per article 19.4.b) of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations, all drivers must be present at the front of the grid for the national anthem:

"no less than sixteen (16) minutes before the scheduled start of the formation lap all drivers must be present at the front of the grid for the playing of the national anthem."

National Anthem Procedure Timeline

• 14:42:00: Drivers move to the National Anthem Position. During the anthem, all drivers must remain in their race suits.
• 14:44:00: The National Anthem commences.

Compliance and Further Information

• Failure to comply with these procedures will be reported to the Stewards.
