  • Fact: Alleged failure to slow under yellow flags at Turn 15.
  • Infringement: Alleged breach of Appendix H, Article 2.5.5 b) of the International Sporting Code.

Decision

No further action.

Reason

The Stewards conducted a thorough review of all available evidence, including:

  • Positioning/marshalling system data
  • Video evidence
  • Timing data
  • Telemetry
  • In-car video

It was noted that a single yellow flag was deployed at Turn 15 on Lap 5 due to Car 6 crashing. After careful consideration of the data, the Stewards determined that Car 31 (Esteban Ocon) responded appropriately to the yellow flag situation at Turn 15. Consequently, no further action was deemed necessary.

Competitors are reminded of their right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Chapter 5 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the specified time limits.
