Reasoning
The Stewards reviewed video and in-car evidence and concluded the following:
- Overtake Attempt: Car 10 (Gasly) moved to overtake Car 31 (Ocon) on the inside at Turn 3. A minor collision occurred just after the apex.
- Positioning: Evidence showed GAS's front axle was ahead of OCO's mirror prior to and at the apex. GAS was in full control of his car.
- Racing Room: According to Driving Standards Guidelines, GAS was entitled to racing room. However, OCO had already committed to the corner when the contact happened.
- Conclusion: No driver was wholly or predominantly to blame for the collision.
