Summary of Incident:

- Fact: Contact occurred between Car 10 (Pierre Gasly) and Car 31 (Esteban Ocon) at Turn 3.
- Infringement: Alleged breach of Appendix L, Chapter IV Art 2(d) of the FIA International Sporting Code.
Stewards' Decision:
- Decision: No further action.
Reasons for the Decision:
- Evidence Reviewed: The Stewards reviewed video and in-car evidence.
- Incident Description: Car 10 (Gasly) attempted to overtake Car 31 (Ocon) on the inside at Turn 3. A minor collision occurred just after the apex.
- Analysis:
- Evidence showed that the front axle of Gasly's car was ahead of the mirror of Ocon's car prior to and at the apex.
- Car 10 was driven in a fully controlled manner.
- Applying the Driving Standards Guidelines, Gasly was entitled to racing room through Turn 3.
- However, Ocon had already turned in and was committed to the corner when the collision occurred.
- Conclusion: The Stewards determined that no driver was wholly or predominantly to blame for the collision. Therefore, no further action was taken.
