Decision and Reasoning

Decision: No further action.

Reasons:

The Stewards conducted a thorough review of available data, including:

  • Marshalling/Positioning data
  • Timing data
  • On-board cameras
  • CCTV cameras

Based on this review, the Stewards determined the following:

  • All concerned drivers maintained necessary speeds for the vast majority of the circuit to stay below the 1:36.0 limit.
  • Drivers took appropriate actions to avoid impeding other drivers.
  • Drivers slowed down significantly to allow other drivers to pass, ensuring a clear track.
  • The Stewards concluded that the drivers did not drive "unnecessarily slowly" and that their exceeding the maximum time was due to appropriate steps taken. Therefore, no further action is warranted.
