Decision and Reasoning
Decision: No further action.
Reasons:
The Stewards conducted a thorough review of available data, including:
- Marshalling/Positioning data
- Timing data
- On-board cameras
- CCTV cameras
Based on this review, the Stewards determined the following:
- All concerned drivers maintained necessary speeds for the vast majority of the circuit to stay below the 1:36.0 limit.
- Drivers took appropriate actions to avoid impeding other drivers.
- Drivers slowed down significantly to allow other drivers to pass, ensuring a clear track.
- The Stewards concluded that the drivers did not drive "unnecessarily slowly" and that their exceeding the maximum time was due to appropriate steps taken. Therefore, no further action is warranted.
