Note to Teams

Objective: To prevent cars from being driven unnecessarily slowly during specific session phases.

Requirement:

• Drivers must maintain a time below 1:42.0 between the Safety Car lines (SC1 and SC2) as indicated on the pit lane drawing.

Applicable Periods:

• During and after the end of Qualifying.
• During reconnaissance lap(s) when the pit exit is opened for the Race.
