Incident
The driver was late attending the Thursday Press Conference.
Infringement
Breach of Article B10.1.1.a of the FIA F1 Regulations and Articles 12.2.1.i and 12.2.1.p of the FIA International Sporting Code.
Decision
The competitor (TGR Haas F1 Team) is fined €5,000. This fine is suspended for a period of 12 months subject to there being no further breach of a similar nature.
Reasoning
The Stewards heard from the driver of Car 31 (Esteban Ocon) and the Team Representative.
- Explanation: The driver was delayed rushing from a team meeting and underestimated the time it would take to get to the Press Conference. He acknowledged the lateness but noted he only missed part of the introduction.
