2026 Belgian Grand Prix - Race Director's Competition Notes\n\n#### General Instructions\n- Qualifying/Reconnaissance: Drivers must not exceed the maximum time between the Second and First Safety Car Lines.\n- Lapping: Pre-warning at 3.0s; blue light panels at 1.2s.\n- Safety Car: No erratic acceleration/braking before restart (Article B5.13.6).\n- ERS Safety Check: Teams must connect umbilicals for telemetry logging every morning.\n\n#### Pit Lane & Grid\n- Pit Lane Safety: Personnel access restricted to active work only. Access rules apply until all cars are in Parc Fermé.\n- Starting Procedure: Grid light panels flash blue for 5s; 'Pre-Start' message on gantry.\n- Practice Starts: Permitted on RHS of Pit Exit after Turn 1. Not allowed during Qualifying.\n- Fast Lane: Cars must blend in without impeding others.\n\n#### Track & Sporting\n- Track Limits: Turn 19 exit violations result in lap time deletion (current + following lap).\n- Double Waved Yellow: Lap time deletion in Free Practice.\n- Circuit Changes: New gate at pit exit, wall extension at Turn 2, rain grooves on Kemmel straight, asphalt repairs at Turns 1, 14, 17.
