Pre-Race Procedure - 2026 Monaco Grand Prix

Note to Teams: Pre-Race Procedure & National Anthem
As set out in Article B10.1.4b of the FIA F1 Regulations:
"In any case, no less than sixteen (16) minutes before the scheduled start of the formation lap all drivers must be present at the front of the grid for the playing of the national anthem."
⏱️ Pre-Race Timeline
| Time | Activity / Requirement |

| 14:40:00 | Drivers start moving to the National Anthem Position. |
| 14:42:00 | Deadline: All drivers must be in position. |
| 14:44:00 | National Anthem: For the duration of the anthem, all drivers must remain attired only in their race suits. |
⚠️ Important Note: Failure to comply with these procedures will be reported to the Stewards.
🗺️ Grid Layout & National Anthem Diagram
The attached diagram specifies the exact arrangement at the front of the grid:
- National Anthem Performance: Performed by the Prince Guards Orchestra on a dedicated riser.
- Driver Positions: Arranged in two rows of 10 drivers facing the grid/start line.
- Dignitaries Entrance: Located near the Monaco Flag & Automobile Club de Monaco Flag.
- VIP / Media Areas: Dedicated "Sky Area" and VIP banner zones are positioned alongside the track.
