Technical/Scrutineering

FIA Technical Delegate's Report: P1 & P2 Scrutineering\n\nEvent: 2026 Monaco Grand Prix \nDocument: 43 (Date: 05 June 2026, 20:23) \nFrom: Manuel Leal, FIA Formula 1 Technical Delegate \nTo: The Stewards \n\n---\n\n#### 1. Before First Free Practice (FP1)\n* Exhaust Systems: Checked against the official team declarations for all cars before the Competition.\n\n#### 2. During First Free Practice (FP1)\nThe following parameters were checked on all cars:\n* Tyre starting pressures (during P1)\n* Engine high rev limit bands\n* Fuel flow meter calibration checksum\n* Instantaneous & partial load fuel energy flow\n* Fuel and plenum temperatures\n* Engine intake air pressure\n* Maximum turbocharger speed\n\n#### 3. After First Free Practice (FP1)\n* All Cars: Checked fuel pressure, cooling system logged pressure, on-track ES state of charge, ERS recharge limits, maximum MGU-K speed, and custom software versions.\n* Samples Taken: Fuel and engine oil samples were taken from Car 31.\n\n#### 4. During Second Free Practice (FP2)\nThe following parameters were checked on all cars:\n* Tyre starting pressures (during P2)\n* Engine high rev limit bands\n* Fuel flow meter calibration checksum\n* Instantaneous & partial load fuel energy flow\n* Fuel and plenum temperatures\n* Engine intake air pressure\n\n#### 5. After Second Free Practice (FP2)\n* Weighing: Car 44 was weighed.\n* All Cars: Checked fuel pressure, cooling system logged pressure, max turbocharger speed, ES state of charge, ERS recharge limits, max MGU-K power limits & speed, torque coordinator/control, Chassis FIA checksum, rear brakes pressure control, custom/SECU software, and tyres used.\n* Samples Taken: Fuel and engine oil samples were taken from Car 41.\n\n#### 6. Chemical Analysis Results\n* Fuel Samples (Car 31 & Car 41): Results showed they match the approved reference fuels. Density changes were within permitted limits.\n* Engine Oil Samples (Car 31 & Car 41): FTIR spectroscopy and viscometry analyses confirmed consistency with approved reference engine oil samples.\n\n> Conclusion: All checked items were found to be in full conformity with the 2026 FIA Formula One Technical Regulations.
