• Fact: Car 30 drove erratically when defending its position against Car 87.
• Infringement: Breach of Appendix L, Chapter IV, Article 2 e) of the International Sporting Code.

Decision

• Penalty: 5 second time penalty.
• Penalty Points: 1 penalty point (total of 6 for the 12-month period).

Reason for Decision

The Stewards reviewed video evidence, including in-car video. It was determined that Car 30 made several erratic moves between turns 8 and 9 as Car 87 was approaching.

Right of Appeal

Competitors are reminded of their right to appeal certain decisions of the Stewards, in accordance with Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Chapter 4 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules, within the applicable time limits.
