F1 2026 cars join Hot Wheels Infinite Rush in new DLC pack

Formula 1 has confirmed that all 22 official 2026 team cars will be playable in Hot Wheels Infinite Rush through a new downloadable content pack. The F1 Car Collection Pack, arriving March 2027, marks the first time official F1 machinery appears in a Hot Wheels video game.

The crossover is the latest step in F1’s deepening partnership with Mattel, following the success of F1 Hot Wheels die-cast cars. By putting the full 2026 grid into a widely accessible arcade racer, F1 taps into a younger, more casual audience that may not traditionally follow the sport. It’s also a sign of how F1 is leveraging gaming as a key engagement channel.

The details:

• Developed in conjunction with Milestone and Mattel, the pack will be available for purchase from March 2027.
• The 22 cars join a roster of over 150 vehicles already in Hot Wheels Infinite Rush.
• The game is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, ROG XBOX Ally, ROG XBOX Ally X and PC.
• F1 chief commercial officer Emily Prazer highlighted that fans can “race their favourite driver’s car” and play against friends and family, saying the pack lets players enjoy “the speed, competition, and drama of the sport in a whole new format.”
• Milestone publishing director Andrea Loiudice said the studio is “incredibly proud to be the first to bring Formula 1 Hot Wheels die-cast cars to a video game.”
• Mattel’s head of licensed games Erika Winterholler added that the collaboration combines “Formula 1’s authenticity and Milestone’s racing expertise” to deliver something special for Hot Wheels fans.
