Cold Pressure Cooling Curve

  • P_front = (T - 70) * 0.121 + P_startf
  • P_rear = (T - 70) * 0.118 + P_startr

Where T = Tyre temperature (°C), P_startf = Minimum starting pressure on the front axle [psi], P_startr = Minimum starting pressure on the rear axle [psi].

⏱️ Maximum Heating Times and Temperatures

  • Slicks: Max 2h (70°C)
  • Intermediate: Max 2h (70°C)
  • Wet: Max 2h (70°C) (Temperatures refer to tyre tread and sidewall temperatures, not blanket or controller set-point temperatures.)

📝 Tyre Notes & General Notes

Important Guidelines:

  • Not permitted to switch tyres from their originally allocated position.
  • Do not subject tyres to large deformation or heavy impact.
  • Do not leave fitted tyres exposed at an air temperature lower than 10°C and/or any excessive UV emission.
  • Cut-off time for fitting tyres on Sunday morning: 4 hours prior to the race start.
  • Tyres may only be heated prior to the session in which they are intended to be used.
  • FIA Checks during the event:
    • Starting pressures
    • Cold pressures (according to cold pressure cooling curves)
    • Re-heat pressures
    • EOS Camber
    • Maximum tyre temperatures and times in blankets
    • Tyre swapping
