Technical Delegate's Report - Race Scrutineering

Event: 2026 Chinese Grand Prix Date: 15 March 2026 From: The FIA Formula One Technical Delegate

1. Pre-Race Part Replacements

The following parts were replaced today after 13:50 and before the race start:

  • McLaren Mercedes (Car 01): SRU
  • Red Bull Racing RB Ford (Car 03): ES cooling system, Rear wing assembly

2. Physical and Digital Checks

  • Deflection Tests: Car 10 (Rear wing), Cars 01 and 06 (Front floor).
  • Skids: Hardness and density checked on cars 01, 12, 03, 16, 55, 18, 31, 27, 10, and 11.
  • Grid Checks: Tyre temperatures and starting pressures were verified for all cars.

3. Post-Race Weighing

The following cars were weighed and found compliant:

4. Technical Analysis

  • Aerodynamics: Extensive bodywork checks (Floor, Nose, Wings) on cars 63, 55, and 30.
  • Fuel & Oil: Samples taken from cars 63, 16, and 12. Analysis confirmed compliance with approved specifications.
  • Software/Sensors: ERS, MGU-K, and fuel flow meter calibration checksums were verified for all cars.

Conclusion: All car weights and items checked were found to be in conformity with the 2026 FIA Formula One Technical Regulations.
