Who are the favourites for the Haas seats in 2027?

Esteban Ocon has confirmed he is a free agent for 2027, with no contract offer from Haas yet. His teammate Ollie Bearman looks far safer, leaving one seat to fill — and Ferrari junior Rafael Camara has emerged as the clear favourite.

• Rafael Camara is the overwhelming favourite. The Ferrari junior, currently P2 in F2, impressed Haas in Testing of Previous Cars running. Ferrari rates him highly and wants to see him in F1.
• Esteban Ocon remains an option, but sources suggest he will part ways with Haas at season's end. A reserve role elsewhere is more likely than a 2027 race seat.
• Leonardo Fornaroli emerged as a contender after winning F2 and joining McLaren's development programme. Haas evaluated him in a TPC day, but he has slipped behind Camara on the shortlist.
