What's the right number of F1 sprint races?

F1 will feature a record 10 sprint races in 2027, pushing the format to almost 42 percent of the 24-round calendar. What began as a three-event experiment in 2021 is now a regular fixture — and the question is how many sprints are too many.

Sprint weekends are no longer a novelty. With 10 events, the sprint becomes a defining part of the season, and the debate has shifted from whether it belongs to how often it should appear.
