Rosberg Calls for Pit Speed Limit Under VSC After Norris Error

Nico Rosberg believes Formula 1's Virtual Safety Car rules are flawed and has a simple fix: limit pit lane speed during VSC periods. Speaking on the F1 Show podcast, the 2016 world champion argued that the current rules create an unfair advantage for drivers who choose to pit while the VSC is active.

Why it matters:

Under a normal pit stop, drivers lose around 20 seconds. But during a VSC, the field is forced to slow down to a delta time, making a pit stop relatively cheaper. That can swing race positions without any overtaking, which Rosberg says is unfair.
