Lego Unveils Record-Breaking Full-Scale Koenigsegg Technic Car Featuring Ghost Mode

Lego and Koenigsegg teamed up to build the fastest life-sized Lego car on record, a full-scale Technic version of the Jesko Absolut that clocked 111 kph at Goodwood in 2025. The Swedish collaboration also yielded a 1:8 scale retail set packed with functional engineering, including the brand’s first-ever nine-speed sequential gearbox.

• Engineers used 327,906 Lego elements to construct the drivable model, which weighs 1,800 kg and took more than 9,400 hours to develop.
• At the 2025 Goodwood Hillclimb, Koenigsegg test driver Markus Lundh pushed the car to 111 kph (68.9 mph), setting a record for a Lego vehicle.
• The full-scale build replicated the iconic Ghost Mode, raising the rear engine cover, doors, mirrors, and front section simultaneously.
• The retail Technic Ultimate set includes 4,104 pieces and features Lego’s first functioning nine-speed transmission, complete with flappy paddle shifters and a working gear indicator on the dashboard.
