Haas to launch in-house simulator in May as Toyota partnership deepens

Haas Team Principal Ayao Komatsu has confirmed that the team’s long-awaited in-house simulator at their Banbury HQ will be operational by May or June. This development marks a significant step forward for the American outfit, bringing their technical infrastructure up to parity with the rest of the grid as they prepare for the 2026 regulation overhaul.

With the massive rule changes coming in 2026, simulator time will be more critical than ever for correlating data and developing the new car. Until now, Haas has relied on Ferrari’s facility in Maranello, but the logistical distance from their UK engineering base has been a major handicap.
