Gasly takes shock maiden F1 pole at Italian GP

Pierre Gasly delivered a stunning lap to claim his first career F1 pole position at the Italian Grand Prix, putting Alpine on top of the grid at Monza. The Frenchman's 1:21.786 in Q3 beat George Russell and Oscar Piastri, a result that seemed unthinkable after he lost his Monaco podium to a court ruling just 24 hours earlier.
