Cadillac lands major F1 technical trio

He will report to CTO Nick Chester and oversee technical direction, linking car concept, aerodynamic design, analysis, and delivery.
• Eric Blandin becomes Head of Aerodynamics after senior roles at Mercedes and Aston Martin. He spent more than a decade as Mercedes' Chief Aerodynamicist before later serving as Deputy Technical Director at Aston Martin.
• Tim Lean is appointed Chief Engineer for Aerodynamics Modelling and Simulation. He brings over a decade of aerodynamic experience from McLaren, six years at Red Bull, and more than five years as Principal Aerodynamicist at Ferrari.
• All three are expected to begin their roles within the next few months, with development of the 2027 challenger already ramping up.
