'A trip of a lifetime' – F1 Unlocked Miami competition winners reflect on their experience at the Miami GP

Trey and his family experienced the Miami Grand Prix as VIPs, winning the F1 Unlocked competition. This prize included three days in the exclusive Vista Club hospitality, a Paddock Tour to see drivers up close, all three days of racing action, plus hotel accommodation and flights.

How did you hear about/enter the competition and have you been to a race before?

I learned about the competition through the F1 app and targeted Instagram ads. I had never attended a race before; it was always a dream to have the chance to go someday. Experiencing it with my wife Allie, sister-in-law Alyssa, and her husband Anthony made it even more special.

What was your reaction when you won?

I was thrilled upon receiving the initial email. Initially, I thought it might be too good to be true, but the excitement grew with the confirmation email and phone call!

What was your highlight of the weekend?

My highlight was definitely the Paddock Tour with Naomi Schiff, offering a unique behind-the-scenes look. We also had a fantastic F1 host who granted us significant access within the paddock area. Seeing the F1 Academy cars up close was also incredibly cool and highlighted the differences in the machinery.

Who was your favourite team/driver that you saw?

I was eager to see everyone, but as a passionate Alpine fan, visiting their garage was a major thrill. While we saw several drivers, spotting Charles Leclerc in the paddock after the Sprint race, just before Qualifying, was particularly exciting.

Can you sum up your weekend in a sentence?

It was truly a trip of a lifetime, offering an unparalleled experience with the access granted to the track and paddock.

Would you recommend F1 Unlocked to a friend?

I would wholeheartedly recommend F1 Unlocked to everyone. If you see a contest, enter it! You never know if you'll be selected – you can't win if you don't participate. Thank you again for this incredible trip; it was an absolutely amazing experience!
