Document 36: Infringement - Car 27 | Session: Free Practice 3 | Driver: 27 - Nico Hulkenberg | Competitor: Audi Revolut F1 Team | Fact: Whilst performing a Practice Start, Car 27 pulled out in front of Car 18. | Infringement: Alleged breach of Article 12.2.1.h of the FIA International Sporting Code. | Decision: No further action. | Reason: The Stewards reviewed video, team radio and in-car video evidence. The team representative explained that the driver's rear vision was obscured by the car behind at the Practice Start location, and the driver had no idea of the approach of Car 18. The start procedure takes between 5 and 15 seconds, and the pit lane exit road requires cars performing practice starts to merge over a very short distance. Although the driver of Car 18 had to brake, the situation was not dangerous and was easily managed by both drivers.
