Fact
The setup of the suspension has been changed while under parc fermé. The team continued to work on the car beyond the covers-on time.
Infringement
- Breaches of Articles B3.5.3 and B3.5.4 of the FIA F1 Regulations.
- Breaches of Articles B3.4.3a and B3.4.3b of the FIA F1 Regulations.
Decision
Required to start the Race from the pit lane.
Reason
- Aston Martin Aramco F1 Team changed the setup of the suspension of Car 18 under parc fermé before the start of the Race, without the approval of the Technical Delegate (Article B3.5.4).
- In addition, the change of setup is not in accordance with Article B3.5.3.
- The team continued to work on the car beyond the covers-on time, breaching Articles B3.4.3a and B3.4.3b.
- Therefore, Car 18 is required to start the Race from the pit lane as per Article B3.5.3b of the FIA F1 Regulations.
