2026 Italian Grand Prix - Technical Delegate's Report (Document 67)

1. Before the Race
- Part Replacements:
- Racing Bulls RB Ford (Car 22 - Yuki Tsunoda): Fuel system airpump replaced after 13:50.
- Car Checks:
- Rear wing flap flexibility test: Car 03 (Max Verstappen).
- Front wing digital scan & CAD comparison: Car 44 (Lewis Hamilton).
- Front wing flap adjustable range: Car 44 (Lewis Hamilton).
- Front wing flap & SM actuator flexibility test: Cars 63 (George Russell), 16, and 10 (Pierre Gasly).
- Clutch paddle linearity check: Car 11 (Sergio Perez).
- Grid Checks:
- Tyres fitted and heating blankets disconnected at the "5-Minutes" signal.
- Tyre temperatures checked on cars 81, 63, 03, 16, 44, 23, 55, 41, 18, 87, 10, 43, and 77.
- Minimum tyre starting pressure checked on all cars.
2. After the Race
- Car Weights: All participating cars were weighed and found compliant.
- Aerodynamic & Bodywork Checks: Checked on cars 01 (Lando Norris), 03 (Max Verstappen), and 10 (Pierre Gasly) covering floor components, nose, chassis, roll hoop, mirrors, sidepods, engine cover, front/rear wing profiles, endplates, and pylons.
- Plank & Skid Wear: Checked on cars 81, 01, 63, 12, 03, 30, 44, 23, 55, 41, 22, 31, 87, 27, 05, 10, 43, 11, and 77.
- Power Unit & Fuel Systems:
- Physical fuel consumption check on car 44 (Lewis Hamilton).
- Fuel pressure, cooling system pressure, high rev limits, fuel flow meter checksums, energy flows, temperatures, intake pressures, turbocharger speeds, MGU-K limits/speeds, torque control, and ERS parameters checked on all cars.
- Brakes, Tyres & Start Data:
- Rear brake pressure control, brake temperature warnings, race start data, single clutch paddle use, and wing adjuster transition times checked on all cars.
- Tyre cold pressures (Car 10), starting pressures, and race-used tyres checked.
Conclusion: All car weights and items checked were found to be in conformity with the 2026 Formula One Technical Regulations.
