2026 Belgian Grand Prix - Post-Qualifying Procedure
This document outlines the mandatory procedures for drivers following the qualifying session.
1. Top 3 Drivers
- Pit Lane Arrival: Return to the Pit Lane, stop at the 1, 2, 3 boards in front of the FIA Garages.
- Restricted Access: Only team mechanics (with cooling fans), officials, and pre-approved media allowed.
- Weighing: Drivers must be weighed immediately while fully attired (helmet, gloves, etc.).
- Interviews: Held in Parc Fermé.
- Media: Followed by photo ops, FIA Press Conference, and TV pen.
2. Other Drivers (Eliminated in Q1/Q2, or 4th-10th in Q3)
- Weighing: Must proceed to FIA scales immediately upon returning to the garage.
- Restrictions: No drinking or eating before being weighed.
- Media: Must attend the TV pen interview after being weighed.
3. General
- Any driver stopping on track must visit the FIA scales before returning to the team.
