Fact: Car 31 was alleged to have failed to reduce speed under a single waved yellow flag in Turn 13 during Lap 9.

Decision: No further action.

Reason: The Stewards reviewed the positioning/marshalling system data, video, timing, telemetry, and in-car video evidence. The driver explained that he observed white smoke before Turn 10, anticipated a yellow or red flag, and lifted off the throttle earlier and applied greater brake pressure than on his comparable fast lap (Lap 6). The telemetry confirmed a discernible reduction in speed through the relevant sector. The Stewards are satisfied that the driver complied with the requirements of Article B1.8.4 a) of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations and Article 2.5.5 b) of Appendix H to the FIA International Sporting Code.
