Pirelli Tyre Prescriptions for the 2026 Miami Grand Prix
This document outlines the technical requirements and operational limits for tyres as specified by Pirelli for the event.
1. Tyre Compounds
- Hard: C3
- Medium: C4
- Soft: C5
- Mandatory Race Tyres: C3, C4
2. Operating Prescriptions (Slicks)

3. Temperature & Heating Limits
- Slicks: Max heating time of 2 hours at 70°C.
- Intermediates: Max heating time of 2 hours at 40°C.
- Wet: Max heating time of 2 hours at 40°C.
4. Important Technical Notes
Tyre Swapping: Not permitted to switch tyres from their originally allocated position. Cold Pressure: Cooling curve limits apply to the average of 5 TPMS spots. Fitting Cut-off: 4 hours prior to the race start on Sunday morning.
