Post-Race Procedure - 2026 Australian Grand Prix

Following the FIA Formula 1 Sporting Regulations (Article B10), the following procedures must be strictly adhered to after the race:

1. Podium Ceremony & Interviews

  • Top 3 Drivers: Must return to the Pit Lane and proceed to the Pit Lane Exit.
    • 1st Place: Board located directly underneath the podium.
    • 2nd & 3rd Place: Boards located in the pit lane just beyond the podium.
  • Weighing: Drivers must be weighed fully attired (helmet, gloves, etc.) before consuming water in Parc Fermé.
  • Attire: Drivers must remain in their driving suits, 'done up' to the neck, for the duration of the ceremony and interviews.
  • Cool Down Room: After interviews, the top 3 will be escorted to the cool down room and provided with Pirelli caps.

2. Trophy Presentation Order

  1. Winning Driver
  2. FIA Medal for the Winning Driver
  3. Representative of the Winning Constructor
  4. 2nd Place Driver
  5. 3rd Place Driver

3. Media Obligations

  • Top 3 Drivers: Escorted to the TV pen, then to the FIA Press Conference.
  • 4th Place and Beyond: Must proceed directly to the TV pen after weighing.
  • Retired Drivers: Must go to the TV pen as soon as they return to the paddock.

4. Parc Fermé & Podium Diagram

The document includes a map specifying the locations for the top 3 cars, the photographers' area, and the winning team celebration zone. Remaining finishers are to be parked at the FIA Garage.
