Technical Delegate's Report
Event: 2026 Australian Grand Prix

1. Third Free Practice (P3) Inspections
- Checks on all cars: Tyre starting pressures, fuel pressure, engine cooling system pressure, fuel flow meter calibration, fuel energy flow (instantaneous/partial), fuel and plenum temperatures, engine intake pressure, turbocharger speed, DC sensor parameters, and ERS/MGU-K limits.
- Specific Checks: Engine high rev limit bands were checked on selected cars (81, 01, 63, etc.).
- Samples: Engine oil sample taken from Car 03 (Daniel Ricciardo).
2. Before & During Qualifying
- Samples: Fuel samples from Cars 23, 41, 18. Oil samples from Cars 23, 18.
- Gear Ratios: Confirmed for all cars as per declared ratios.
- Weight & Distribution: Checked for Cars 63, 16, 44, 55, 30, 27, 10, 77 during the session.
3. Post-Qualifying Scrutineering
- Weighing: Cars 81, 01, 63, 12, 06, 16, 44, 41, 30, 05 were weighed.
- Aerodynamic/Bodywork Checks: Detailed inspection of Floor (Body, Foot, Sidewall, Board, Corner), Nose, Chassis, Roll Hoop, Sidepod, Wings (Front/Rear), and more on Cars 63, 16, and 06.
- Software: SECU software versions were verified for all teams (SR1826 + B125/BE48/B124).
- Analysis: Fuel and oil samples were analyzed via gas chromatography and FTIR spectroscopy; all were found to be in conformity with the regulations.
Conclusion: All items checked were found to be in conformity with the 2026 FIA Formula One Technical Regulations.
