Verstappen's Nürburgring GT3 Test Details Emerge

Max Verstappen, known for his F1 prowess, recently impressed in a 'secret' Ferrari GT3 test at the Nürburgring. Despite using the pseudonym Franz Hermann, word quickly spread, drawing fans to see him tackle the Nordschleife for the first time in real life.

Official details are scarce, but former F1 driver Timo Glock shared insights on the Backstage Boxengasse podcast.

Glock reported that Verstappen showed "incredible things." According to Glock, Verstappen's first or second timed lap on the Nordschleife was already "absolutely top notch," clocking in at a reported 7 minutes and 53 seconds.

Glock highlighted that this time is particularly impressive given Verstappen had never driven the Nordschleife before in a GT3 car, relying heavily on simulator preparation.

While the reported time isn't the absolute fastest (hypercars are quicker), it's a remarkable achievement for a second lap on the challenging 20.832 km track, further underlining Verstappen's exceptional talent across different machinery.
