While race results determine championship points, single-lap pace remains a crucial benchmark for driver performance, with every competitor pushing the limits in both qualifying and race configurations.

McLaren

• Lando Norris vs. Oscar Piastri: Norris leads the qualifying head-to-head 3-4, with Piastri trailing 0-2 in sprint qualifying. Piastri has identified qualifying as a key area for improvement this season.

Ferrari

• Lewis Hamilton vs. Charles Leclerc: Leclerc holds a significant qualifying advantage at 1-7, with a 1-1 tie in sprint qualifying. This season sees Hamilton, F1's most prolific pole-sitter, go head-to-head with Leclerc, widely regarded as one of the fastest qualifiers on a single lap.

Red Bull

Racing Bulls

• Isack Hadjar vs. Yuki Tsunoda: Hadjar and Tsunoda are tied 1-1 in qualifying, with Tsunoda leading 0-1 in sprint qualifying.
