Former F1 driver Juan Pablo Montoya has urged Lando Norris to reassess his approach to racing Max Verstappen. The two drivers have had several intense on-track moments, especially last season. Verstappen often takes a firm stance when defending his position.

The battles have continued into this season, notably in Miami, where Norris was pushed wide multiple times.

Montoya believes Norris needs to rethink his strategy against the four-time champion.

"Miami was a good race, it was interesting," Montoya told Spin Genie. "Lando Norris put himself in an unnecessary position at the start of the race. He's trying to fight Max Verstappen in a bit of a desperate manner, I think."
