The Stewards have received a request from TGR Haas F1 Team to change the driver of car 31, Esteban Ocon.

Decision Summary

• Regulation: Article B1.7.2 of the FIA F1 Regulations
• Approved Change: Driver Ryo Hirakawa (Car #50) will replace Esteban Ocon for the rest of the 2026 Mexico City Grand Prix.

Conditions

• Power Unit & Tyres: Car #50 must use the engine and tyres allocated to the original driver, Esteban Ocon, pursuant to Article B1.7.5.
• Scrutineering: This permission is conditional upon Ryo Hirakawa passing all scrutineering requirements.
