2026 Italian Grand Prix - Technical Delegate's Report (Document 49)

1. Third Free Practice (FP3) Checks
The following items were checked on all cars during FP3:
- Tyre starting pressures
- Fuel pressure and cooling system pressure
- Engine high rev limit bands and fuel flow meter calibration checksum
- Instantaneous and partial load fuel energy flow
- Fuel and plenum temperatures
- Engine intake air pressure and maximum turbocharger speed
- DC sensor codes and temperatures
- On-track ES state of charge limits, ERS recharge limits, MGU-K power limits and speed
- SECU custom software versions
2. Pre-Qualifying Checks
- Gear Ratios: Confirmed to belong to those declared to the FIA technical delegate.
- Brake Discs: Thickness checked on all cars participating in qualifying.
3. Qualifying Checks
- Weighing & Weight Distribution: Car numbers 81, 01, 63, 12, 03, 30, 16, 23, 41, and 31 (plus 44, 10, and 43 post-qualifying).
- Aerodynamic Components: Checked on specific cars (e.g., Car #23, #63, #41, #43) covering floor body, foot, sidewall, nose, chassis, wings, etc.
- PU & Electrical Checks: Fuel pressure, engine cooling, rev limits, fuel flow, turbo speed, torque sensor calibration/software, rear brakes pressure control, and steering wheels.
