Reasoning The Stewards reviewed positioning data, video, timing, telemetry, and in-car video. HAM entered the sector before any yellow flag was displayed. The yellow indication on the steering wheel appeared only when the driver was on the straight towards Turn 10. The Stewards acknowledged that the driver had very limited time to react and was occupied with a battle with VER (Max Verstappen). However, they determined that he did not make a discernible reduction of speed and therefore did not fully comply with the requirements.
