Reasoning The Stewards reviewed video, team radio, and in-car evidence. Car 23 attempted to overtake Car 87 on the inside of Turn 6. During the maneuver, the driver of Car 23 locked the left-front wheel and understeered into the rear-left tyre of Car 87, causing it to spin. The Stewards determined that Car 23 was not driving in a fully controlled manner from entry to the apex, failing to satisfy the Driving Standards Guidelines for an inside overtake.
