Technical Delegate's Report

This report, issued by the FIA Formula One Technical Delegate Jo Bauer to the Stewards on 05 December 2025 at 20:24, details the technical checks performed before, during, and after the first and second free practice sessions of the 2025 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Before the First Free Practice Session:

  • Exhaust System Components: Checked against team declarations for all cars.

During the First Free Practice Session:

  • Tyre Starting Pressures: Checked for all cars during P1.
  • Engine High Rev Limit Bands: Checked on all cars.
  • Fuel Flow Meter Calibration Checksum: Checked on all cars.
  • Instantaneous Fuel Mass Flow: Checked on all cars.
  • Partial Load Fuel Mass Flow: Checked on all cars.
  • Fuel Temperature: Checked on all cars.
  • Plenum Temperature: Checked on all cars.
  • Exhaust Fluid Mass Flow: Checked on all cars.

After the First Free Practice Session:

  • Fuel Pressure: Checked for all cars during P1.
  • Engine Cooling System Logged Pressure: Checked on all cars during P1.
  • IVT Code and Calibration Checksums: Checked on car numbers 04, 16, 01, 63, 12, 43, 87, 06, 55, 27 and 05.
  • IVT Temperatures: Checked on all cars.
  • ES State of Charge On-Track Limits: Checked on all cars.
  • Lap Energy Release and Recovery Limits: Checked on all cars.
  • MGU-K Power Limits: Checked on all cars.
  • Maximum MGU-K Speed: Checked on all cars.
  • Maximum MGU-K Torque: Checked on all cars.
  • Maximum MGU-H Speed: Checked on all cars.
  • MGU-K Power Model: Checked on all cars.
  • ES Power Model: Checked on all cars.
  • Torque Coordinator Demands: Checked on all cars.
  • Torque Control: Checked on all cars.
  • Custom Software Versions: Checked on all cars.

During the Second Free Practice Session:

Conclusion: All items listed above were found to be in conformity with the 2025 FIA Formula One Technical Regulations.
